Hall & Hall’s Land Survey Department melds the latest in surveying equipment with decades of experience. The average HHE surveyor has 15 years of experience and several of our senior staff, including the head of our surveying, have 30 years of experience or more. Our Surveying Department also has four licensed land surveyors and the ability to field four crews equipped with "state-of -the-art" robotic total stations.
Our crews use the latest in robotics surveying equipment, and both static and Real Time Kinematic (RTK) GPS. These technologies provide the ability to utilize personnel effectively. A "one-man-survey-crew" can collect pre-engineering topographic survey data while another is out staking construction sites. The un-manned instrument allows flexibility by tracking the surveyor’s prism pole throughout the site. Over the past few years, we have found that using the robotic stations in combination with GPS control has been a huge benefit to both the quality and efficiency of our surveying projects.
